21 Mar THE REBRAND OF COLLIER WEBB
Last week I was delighted to be invited to a focus group which took place at the incredibly elegant and exclusive members club Home House. The moment I walked in through the impressive entrance I knew I was going to have an interesting day.
Having not been to a focus group before I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. I was greeted by a variety of friendly faces from a number of different industries and immediately felt relaxed. It felt such a privilege to be spending the day in such a beautiful venue.
The brand hosting the focus group, which was revealed at the end, was a luxury interiors company called Collier Webb. They are an established and very well respected company who design and make luxury lighting, furniture and hardware. They have their own foundry in Eastbourne and all of their products are made in England. Currently they mainly sell business to business but in April they will be rebranding and launching on a bigger scale into the retail market, clearly a very exciting time for them and for us the consumer.
A number of pieces from the range were displayed in an incredibly elegant room at Home House. Most of the pieces looked like they belonged there which, in my view, speaks volumes. Quality absolutely shone through. On display were lamps, tables and mirrors. The majority of the pieces were absolutely to my taste, I could have very happily and willingly found the perfect spot for them in my home!
The stand out piece for me was the most beautiful convex mirror on a metal easel stand. It was such a statement piece but equally was incredibly subtle and would look amazing in a variety of settings. The fairly hefty price tag is a representation of the quality of materials and workmanship involved in the production.
The Collier Webb Pimlico Road showroom will be undergoing refurbishment next month to make way for the new lifestyle concept. I am very much looking forward to visiting and have no doubt that the rebrand will be a huge success.
Below are a few of my favourite pieces. The full range and further details are available HERE
