10 Mar SANDRO – MY SHORTLIST
When we were in NYC back in January I managed to drag my husband into Sandro for a quick whizz round. I wasn’t surprised to see some absolutely gorgeous pieces in the summer collection. Due to a poor exchange rate, and being a European brand the clothes were more expensive than back at home so I resisted buying anything.
I normally shop in the Covent Garden store as I pass it on the way to my husband’s office. Last week however I had a quick browse around the, surprisingly large, Sandro concession in Selfridges. I spotted most of the pieces I saw in NYC as well as lots more so here is a quick round up of my favourites.
1. STRIPED TOP WITH STAR EMBROIDERY £175
This top instantly caught my eye, I absolutely love it.
2. TOP WITH BARE SHOULDERS AND STARS £199
This one though is my favourite of all of the summer tops.
3. STRIPED TOP WITH LACE TRIM £155
I love the detail on the neck and the ruffle sleeves.
4. SWEATER IN MERINO WOOL AND CASHMERE £185
This looks so much nicer in reality, such a gorgeous soft pale pink with a ribbon tie on the shoulder. It’s a great, loose fit too.
I am going to a very special wedding in July and am tempted by this dress.
6. TWO-TONE DUAL FABRIC V-NECK DRESS £280
The top on this dress is so gorgeous and so delicate, perfect over a bikini or for balmy evenings abroad.
7. STRIPED DRESS AND STAR PATCH £175
This would look great with a tan and some white converse.
8. “SANDRO” FLOCKING T-SHIRT £100
I know that this has been seen a lot already but I had to include it, mainly because I have my eye on it for our ski trip next month.
9. EMBROIDERED FLAME SLEEVED SWEATSHIRT £239
AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!
10. HIGH WAISTED STRIPED SHORTS £155
I have some similar to these which I love and live in.
Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) I spent slightly too long drinking wine with a gorgeous friend in Harry Gordon’s last week and so didn’t have time to try on or buy. Now I just need to shortlist my shortlist as I really can’t justify more than one… but I love them all…. hmmmmmm?
